Today felt like Friday.  I woke up at six, went back to bed and woke up around 8.  Continued with my daily routine.  I am so behind with the blog entries.  Including today, 4!  I did my second load of clothes.  Today we waited for the the rental car.  Nikki gave the best of directions at least 10 times.  She was supposed to arrive at 9:30 AM and didn't arrive till 11 AM.  She asked for the payment up front (250 TT) per day.  No proper customer service here.  So we got cracklin-jackin.  I had Indonesian Food for lunch which felt like a mix between Indian and Middle Eastern/Arabic.  I actually finished my lunch b/c for breakfast I had an apple and raisins.  I had a chicken samosa, fried chicken in spices and it was spicy, brown rice with veggies.  I was able to tell how much I wanted.  Afterwards, I saw Nikki's place.  Everyone had to say hi and chit chat a bit.  So nice to g into work and just be able to chat and feel at home.   Even visiting friends doesn't require a phone call saying hey I'm coming or an appointment.   It is just understood that after a certain time people are more likely home and you can always swing by.  More relaxed and friendly.  Anyways because Nikki had to go into work and had some business at the bank, I toured the shopping area.  Very nice to see what people were selling and doing.  Most of the shops were Indian.  People kept addressing me in Spanish!  I acted like I didn't know Spanish.  I had some folks her were nice and pleasant while others gave the impression of why is she here.  One gentleman let me take a picture of his crafty work with sandals.  The tiny ones for little wee ones attracted my attention.    I got soya strawberry milk and it tasted awesome!  Then we went to San Fernando Rock/hill and I hiked up and climbed the rocks.  I wanted to climb up another hill but the rocks kept falling so no strong grip was available.  However, Officer Mclaude of the Forest Division showed us where to go, next time, if we choose to return.  I wanted to climb the actual rock/hill that he said was not climbable..... hmmm I don't know! Afterwards, we returned home.  Nikki took back routes to avoid traffic.  Wohoo.  We were dancing in the car.  Dates have lots of sugar and lots of sugar in me uh oh!  We decided against a movie, a long day tomorrow but we watched tv for a little.
