So we wake up early. Breakfast is my fruit cake. We grab a Maxi to get to the airport. Because he dropped us on a side street versus the highway, he charged us double. Anyways, we arrive at the airport where children pushed their way in front of us to which their parents never corrected to say excuse me, hello, thank you. But, what I have noticed even more is a consistent unhappiness and lack of customer service amongst individuals. Anyways, our flight was delay from 9:45-10:15. Thirty minutes wasn't too bad. We sat at a food court, and I updated my journal while Nikki did some work. We went to our gate. At the gate we were delayed an extra hour; 11:15. We were both hungry!!!! After we finally arrived, we went to a parking lot where our rental car was dropped off! Boom, depart to Tobago!!! Just Nikki and I; we already got into trouble, singing, playing, having lots of silly fun! You can't expect anything less from Randy-Mac Women! Well, after multiple phone calls to the owner of the hotel we finally reached his road and then he asked us to follow his vehicle. Many pink houses on the route; confused both of us. Then I got middle eastern food, chicken kabob, hummus, and pita bread. We got fruit for dinner. Nikki started to bargain, but the gentleman was good. But really 4 apples for 20 TT. We drove through Scarborough and then went to Fort King George. Again Nikki and I are kids at heart, climbing trees, cannons, etc... The room where they kept the gun powder was a bit freaky. After this we just decided to randomly drive around and get lost. Lots of adventure fun. We returned around 6. Nikki went to sleep and I updated my journals, blogs, and such, watched Batman, and I ate a banana, trail mix, and fruit bread for dinner. Plan on reading and sleeping. Tomorrow we tour most of Tobago. Oh, and I poked my finger on glass.... An adventure with my first aid kit always handy!
