Today I woke up at 6:30, went back to sleep and then woke up at 7:30.  We were supposed to be up at 6 but hey sleep was needed.  I did stretch.  I made some Oatmeal Breakfast and tried goat's milk!!!!  It was tasty.  Nikki and I toured Arima!  I loved it :)  Nikki knows everyone.  We went to three banks (one of which had a no hat policy) before we found one with decent exchange rates.  No one knows what athletic tape is, and even when I explained it, no one had it :/.  So to say the least, bandaid for the finger, and I will be adding a new thing to my first aid kit.  Unfortunately, the boats to Tobago leave on days that don't work with our schedule and had a return of 4 AM to which neither of us would be able to wake up for or be cognizant for.  So we got a one way flight for $25 and we will go back for the return.  Lastly I got water which initially was 20 TT and then I went for a local brand which is 4.5 TT.  Then I got to take part of a political march which opposes how the government is treating their people.  It was wonderful to see all the unions come together, support each other and their beliefs, and nonviolently showcase their convictions for the need of an honest government.  I am so proud of my Randy-Mac sis and was so happy to take part in this experience.  However, the experience could not come until the Hulk in Tarika was retained by feeding it.  I tried some traditional Pelau (rice, red beans, and chicken).   Normally Pelau is with black eye peas but we got red beans!  Yum!!!!!  From lunch onwards I spent time with Nikki's mom.  A very active and bright woman!  We toured and saw two schools, the Royal Jail, and the main parts of the City of Port of Spain.  However, my knee began to sense rain and needed ice, so we returned home to get relief.  Supper were fruits:  Pommerac, apples, banana (which are called silk figs), grapes, papaya, watermelon, pineapple, prunes, and tamarind!  delicious :D

My phone is working.  I had enough water, enough food, everyone will be fine.  Oh and I saw a Kung Fu school :).

Till tomorrow.  Hasta Maniana!

Some of the yummy fruits I have to try.
