Being a martial artist, a social worker, and a women.. So much I can do :) And, what am I going to do?!?!? Empower!
As a social worker, I go into homes and do assessments and find that a lot of colleagues don't necessarily notice the red flags of safety. Sometimes they notice the red flags but don't know how to react. I want to use my martial arts knowledge and my social work knowledge and teach individuals about safety.
Secondly, women and children empowerment is very important to me. I want to raise money to support local groups but also go abroad and help individuals/organizations who may need seminars on women/children empowerment and self-defense.
So, I did not heal fast enough to drive to Lynchburg but later I will, for sure.
For now, my trips are in April, May, possibly September, and October.
April-Tampa and Orlando (the girls changed)
May- Trinidad and Tobago and hopefully a self-defense seminar and bully prevention in the works
September- Greece for a potential self-defense/empowerment seminar
October- A trip to Thailand for fun.
